Mimi Shodeinde Looks to the Female Form for NRIN Vessels

British-Nigerian designer Mimi Shodeinde has crafted a series of sculptural vases in metal and wood, basing the form of each on the "softness of the female form".The NRIN vases, with a name inspired by the Yoruba word for female - "Obinrin" - are based around a central wooden column crafted from oil-staned ash.
